This is my first time covering wedding in New York city, in such a beautiful season. I was really lucky to be part of Cynthia & John’s wedding and it’s my great pleasure to get to know all these lovely wedding party members. 2 days together, we really became good friends. The day before the wedding, it was raining bad. My flight got delayed when landing in New York. All of us were praying for no rains for next day, and it works. It was a great day for the wedding day. And wedding is at the famous venue “Travas on the Green” in central park. I got excited since I opened my eyes. I lived in Westin, just next to Cynthia’s home. Manhattan is right across the river. It’s a short getting ready session at Cynthia’s home with awesome views:
We started our portrait session from 9:00AM (It’s more like a half day tour in New York, we started with Brooklyn bridge, then time squre, then central park and waiting for the ceremony) The party stared early from the Limo:
Doing a sexy pose in Time square is not easy, with hundreds of tourists watching us:
It’s a long day, from 8AM to 8PM, and Cynthia started makeup session from 5 AM. But it’s such an exciting and fun day as well. John is really the most patient groom we have ever met. From beginning to the very end, he was so patient and really took good care of his beautiful bride.
And I would also like to thank my friend, Kevin. He volunteered to be my second shooter for this wedding and worked together with me for the whole long day. And he did an amazing work. I like lots of his shots and some photos above are from Kevin. I do hope we can work together next year in New York.
Cynthia & John, I am very looking forward to see your photos of your big banquet in China this week. And I just found out that Cynthia and I are from same hometown. I really miss Chengdu a lot.
