When it comes to transferring my client’s photos to the Internet, it takes more than a second. Actually, many times it takes me hours to download a 64GB file to an online portfolio. Let’s take a trip back to the days when flash drives and the Internet weren’t means of delivering photos. Photographers, like myself, used CD/DVDs to deliver images and videos to their clients. While it was the most reasonable delivery method at the time, new devices like flash drives have made things much simpler for my business.
Flash drives come in a number of different capacities. Depending on the capacity size you get, determines how much data you can have on the drives. This way I don’t have to hand my clients 4-5 CDs with all their images on them or have to worry about the possibility of the discs not reading correctly. Instead, one flash drive can hold all of the high-resolution images with no problem at all.
